Cassini: Google honors NASA probe

Since I love art and graphics, I always watch google doodles with interest. Google is paying tribute to public figures and it’s helping to raise voices to aware people and social causes. This time it has given a tribute to spacecraft ‘Nave Cassini’ which recorded images of Saturn and its moons before 20 years.

“Saturn, get ready for your close! Today, the Cassini probe begins a series of raids between Saturn and its rings. These cosmic stunts are part of Cassini’s dramatic ‘grand finale’, a set of orbits offering Terrans an unprecedented look at the second largest planet in our solar system, “Google has published.

“As we delve into this fascinating frontier, Cassini will help scientists learn more about the origins, mass and age of Saturn’s rings, as well as the mysteries of the gaseous interior. And, of course, there will be stunning additions to the already impressive Cassini photo gallery. Cassini recently revealed some secrets of Enceladus, the icy moon of Saturn – including friendly conditions for life! Who knows what this explorer will discover in the final chapter of its mission? ”

“Cassini was a joint effort of NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Italian Space Agency (ASI). The spacecraft began its journey of 2.2 billion miles 20 years ago and has been with Saturn since 2004. Later this year, Cassini will say goodbye and become part of Saturn as it falls through the atmosphere of the planet. But first, it has some spectacular walks to do!
