Google Clips, Google’s camera with artificial intelligence, is not yet ready to film things beyond people and pets (dogs and cats).
According to Justin Payne, product manager, Google have plans to expand the device model of machine learning in future versions of Clips.
“We’re starting with a focus and then we’ll build from there,” Payne explained. “Right now, he [Clips] does not understand the world at large.”
That is, Google Clips is not ready to replace your GoPro and not even equipment if security (like the cameras of the Nest ).
Of course the search engine would not deliver all the chips in this first interaction of the product, but at the same time, the $ 249 value may be too high for its limitations.
